When you register, please select one time slot — this will be your child’s small group for the whole year.

Middle School small groups will meet three times a month, giving students a chance to grow in faith, build friendships, and have fun together!

Wednesday: 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM at St. Monica

Friday: 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM at St. Eugene

Sunday: 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM at St. Monica

Sunday with Father: 9:45 AM - 10:45 AM at St. Eugene

CURRICULUM

What to expect?

All middle school students will be using the Word of Life curriculum from the Augustine Institute and Ignatius Press. This year’s materials will cover the “Call to Discipleship.”

MASS ATTENDANCE

Regular Sunday Mass attendance is an essential part of being Catholic and thus is expected of our Child Ministry families. Parish Mass Times are:

  • St. Eugene: Sat 4:30 PM; Sun 8:30 & 11:00 AM

  • St. Monica: Sat 5:00 PM; Sun 8:00 & 10:15 AM

Ways to be involved!

We ask all parents to prayerfully consider becoming part of our Youth Ministry team. We can’t do this without you!

Small Group Leaders

Small group leaders are needed to help facilitate each of our small group sessions. Being a small group leader is a great way to refresh your faith, form new relationships at church, be a role model for your child and serve God. Our curriculum is easy to follow and all the work is done for you.

We are pleased to offer a full tuition waiver (just pay sacrament and retreat fees) for ALL children (4K-Confirmation) of a catechist/small group leader who commits to volunteering at each session.

All Small Group Leaders are required to attend a Safe Environment Education Session, pass a Background Check, and sign the Code of Ethical Standards.

Snack Coordinator

Our middle schoolers enjoy a snack! Sign up to be a snack coordinator and manage a parent snack sign up list.

Email youthministry@stme.church to sign up.

SAFEGUARDING ALL GOD'S FAMILY

St. Eugene and St. Monica Parishes are committed to providing a safe environment for all. In compliance with the Archdiocese of Milwaukee and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, all volunteers over the age of 18 MUST attend a (free, one-time) Safe Environment Education Session, pass a criminal background check, and read and sign the Code of Ethical Standards for Church Leaders. In addition, it is our goal to have ALL parents attend this class to increase awareness and safety. This would also qualify parents to chaperone field trips, work on service projects or assist in classrooms anywhere in the Archdiocese. To register for a class, please go to https://milwaukee.cmgconnect.org/.
